Thumbs up Tisy's UI

Tisy's UI is currently being recreated and updated. I am expecting to relaunch the UI sometime within the next week or two.

This update is a complete revisioning of the UI from the group up. While before it was a slim easy to use UI, the new version will be even more slim and alot easier to use.

Most of the interface is going to relocate everything toward the bottom of the screen for easy access and a slim compact interface. This will help make everything easy to manage and in a central location.

The plan is to release only one version of the UI to start with. At extemely high resolutions the buttons may be to small for some people 1900xXXXX + I do appologise about that in advance and it will be something that is tackled in the future.

If you are looking for a highly graphical User Interface then this UI is not for you. As the goal of this UI is reduce the amount of graphics presented by the UI.

I will post some preview screenshot's over the next few days along with a Beta version of the UI so that I can get some help finding bugs that may crop up.

If anyone has any suggestions. Do let me know and I will take a look at making the changes / additions.

Since the mini-map has been replaced with the region map. It has been made fully resizeable, so that you can adjust how much screen space it takes up. I have found the region map seems to work alot better then the mini-map for some reasion. You also get the ability to zoom all the way out and in case you need to look at the other side of the map for a quest marker.

Looks really nice.
One thing I really need is to be able to move the self and target (and target of target) bars and to make them larger and "cleaner". It is very hard to look at them in the current (low) position while tanking or anything else for that matter. Same with the group bars. It would also be nice to see group mana/stamina bars but I don't know if that is possible.

I have a new bottom bar that I am expermenting with that has the character and target (target of target) all moved to the top location of the hotbar. I will play around with it a little tonight and if it feels more intutive I will replace the current bottombar setup with it.

As far as showing the mana and stam of other party members. I do not think its possible at this time to do so. We are kinda limited to just being able to remove / move / and change the current interface. Adding additional information to it is abit out of our reach right now.

Thanks alot, I modified it to what I wanted, (added the bar back to the top, added the exp bar back because it disappears at level 80 and it looks pretty bad, no your fault). Also made the icons bigger (changed mine to 35). Overall it was very close to what I wanted, thanks again.

Let me see if I can describe what I find really nice.

1)The Health/Stam/Mana bars would be one on top of another (currently the stam and mana split the second line which is really annoying when you dont have mana.
I personally would like my bars to be above all my hotbars and towards the right side of the screen since that is what I am used to but I'm sure others would prefer diferent positioning so movable is highly desirable.

2) The target and target-of-target bars I like to have at the top of my screen. This is kinda a big deal. I noticed last night when tanking, with all the graphics its very hard to see the bars down at the bottom, but once again others might prefer a different position.

3) The target-of-target bar is WAY too small and this is very important while tanking. You REALLY want to know if the mob is on you and I've found it is very difficult to tell visually in this game just from his facing (once again due to the massive amount of graphic splash from AE classes.

4) The group bars are also WAY too small and I know others have done work to make this bigger. As a healer (I have a 50 tempest) those bars are critical to knowing the status of your group and as a tank you might want to target from the group bar then use target-of-target to pull a mob off of a squishie.

Thanks in advance. In RL I'm a hardcore software engineer but I find I just don't have the time to look into this stuff myself or perhaps the desire?

Only thing I don't like is the top right. Maybe you can upload (since I can't edit UI's) a version with the normal minimap (and map).

1.1 Features
Changed ActionBars around to include the attack hotkeys in the middle.
Added in the new Party Window.
Moved Character box and Targeting box to the top of the hotbars.
Moved Target of Target box to the top of the Target box.
Fixed issue with action bars shifting to the left when you targeted another player.

As always I am open to any feedback on what you would like to see added / changed on the UI.
