I have been loving the pvp till I ran into a ranger. I sneak up on him and use stun but my stun works 10% on him and 90% on every other class. He stuns me 100%. He can even stun me if I stun him first. He then walk's back a few feet and bow's me to death. I can not even reach him before im dead. I tried this over 10 times and did not kill him once. I asked in aoc chat about what poeple thought about rangers and 80% said that rangers where overpowered and they could not kill them. I love the class I play and I dont want to reroll just to have a even playing field. I have a feeling this is going to be like wow and vanguard where everyone rolls the same guy due to a class being overpowered. What do you guys think about rangers?

they arent overpowered. you should have seen them in PvP weekend THEN they were overpowered.

They got a serious nerf after that.

From my experience if they get the jump on me I die no matter what. If I get the jump on them they die no matter what. I play a barb. When I'm rooted I just use my bow instead of doing nothing. Don't forget your ranged weapon! It's made the difference in those fights for sure.

So rangers are fine imo. That or both them and barbs are OP

OMG im not crying. I brought the fight to him. Its not like he spawn camped me or some lame **** like that and im on here crying about it. Im talking about a real issue. Rangers is the most talked about over powered class in chat. Its not just me.

While we are on the topic of crying, how about adding.

3 minute level 25 necro dot that continues to tick even after you kill the caster hitting you for 5% of your health, and keeping you in combat unable to regen..


Or player pets that don't lose aggro when you stealth out of sight, and can continue to follow you forever knocking you out of stealth :\


Rangers die just as fast as the clothies they can kill. The reason why rangers seem OP is because most people just stand there and take the hits for 5-10 seconds before they attempt to fight back. Learn to react, and you wouldn't lose to a ranger leaving him with close to full health.

Expect to get jumped and be ready when you do, it's called "L2PLAY"

I don't understand what you are trying to say. I am a barbarian and i kill hunters all the time. Sometimes they jump me and i bash their brains in. Other times i get beat by hunters because it is a better player. Have you ever stopped to think that you should just practice a little PvP before going all crazy saying this and that is overpowered. I find there is great balance in Age of Conan PvP. If you are good you win If you suck you loose, i like that balance because if you suck you can always get better.

Yes thats bs but I have no problem with any class but rangers. Im not a noob. Im not just standing there letting him hit me. Did you not read what I said. I brought the fight to him.

Im not new to mmo's and Ive put in alot of hrs pvping. Im not just saying this because I suck and lost to a ranger. Maybe you guys have not played a good ranger but I can see how this is going. I have tons of guild mates rerolling due to this. Its not just me seeing rangers pwn. Go in a pvp server and ask. I watched this same guy take on a tank, rogue and mage and won with ease.
