I just spent about an hour reading through the Europe Forums. It was a breath of fresh air.

The first thing you notice, is there are not a lot of people fighting for attention.

What does that mean?
It means they do not have the heavy postings of Troll or Fanboi threads started that we do here.

From that I gather that they are either older or at the very least more mature community than what we have here at this time.



The second thing that I noticed was less complaints about the game being unplayable. Before you jump to any conclusions let me explain in more depth.

There are still lots of threads that complain about bugs and content, just not near the number we have. They seem to be focusing more on how to tune the game with settings, rather than our focus here, on getting the game to play.

What does that mean?
Well hard to put a finger on that. It could mean that they have better systems overall or it could mean they are more willing to tweek the systems rather than immediately point fingers at Funcom and scream fix it. A quick look at the Tech forums confirms this. There are more indepth posts about tweeking systems, rather than worrying about being booted, freezeups etc.

Having said that, you don't see many threads, about quitting due to the state of the game, like you do on these forums.



The last thing I noticed, is a lot of the posts are short and sweet. This is similar to the first impression point I made, in that they do not seem to have a constant few disgruntled posters who troll the forums, to get their moneys worth. There are not many constant Trolling or Fanbois trolling of other peoples posts.

What does that mean?
Well it could mean that Europeans are more respectful of others or it could mean they don't fly off the handle as easily. They are definately on to something however.

In summary. The posters here need to take a look at themselves. It could be upbringing, it could be maturity, or something else. They seem to be playing the same game as we are, and not nearly as focused on dragging popular opinion, to whatever side of the forums they are on.

Maybe we should focus on those coming into the game and "helping them" to be able to play rather than focusing on "telling them to quit" or not bother playing cause it is crap.

You are kidding right? Check under General tab mate, 90% of posts are pure whine there, complaining that its unplayable. They moderated threads alot tho, even deleted the thread called First Siege War - failure as predicted or something, because FC couldn't admit that they failed with siege weapons and warfare and just lied in advertisments. It was main selling idea and they failed so much. I hope I get banned again.

Lol no. I have yet to see a study showing anyone race or nation is smarter... there is a word for thinking like that. Americans are more confrontational as a socitiy then some others but that is about all you can say. Tell me again how sterotyping a nations people can be correct in a very multi national/racial country like the U.S.

Please don't start a troll thread comparing the amount of troll threads across continents. I've seen plenty of these kinds of threads... they never lead anywhere productive.
