Oh, happy, happy Friday!
Be at peace, brothers and sisters!
For it is a day of tranquility. Friday is here, and the promise of good wine and slouching in front of the television beckons. Even for the busy little game developers slaving away at their computers in the darkest dungeons of the Funcom offices. Today we have our annual summer party, and hundreds of nerds will be flocking to the Norwegian Wood music festival for beer and dancing. Some of us might even work up enough courage to meet girls.
It has been a busy week for us. The team is toiling away at forthcoming updates that will be introduced to the game soon, and we have also been preparing a rather big announcement concerning the coming weeks and months -- an announcement that will go out as a newsletter later today. It will also be available on the Age of Conan community website (so don't a nervous breakdown should your copy of the newsletter not reach your mailbox).
I am attaching a new piece of artwork one of the concept artists delivered today, showing off a new feature we will be talking about in today's newsletter. Let the speculations begin!
