Well im not even high enough to go in these yet but would like thoughts on it. Im going Vengeance i think because of AoE and healing sprits if im reading it right.

From what I can tell, a very basic difference seems to be that Vengeance is slightly more damage biased with higher pure DPS/HPS, while Divinity is slightly more healing biased with more utility.

I'm going to eventually be heavy Divinity for PvP heals, but for now I'm levelling as Vengeance and loving it.

Allright i must of been looking at it wrong than. I want more CC and Healing so Divinity is the way to go? Thought Vangeance gets healing sprits later on?

The way I'm looking at it right now is:

Divinity: Your main nuke heals.

Vengeance: Your main heals nuke.

At least between Lance of Mitra (Divinity) and the Purification of Mitra (Vengeance) feat sets.

EDIT: It's hard to tell at this point, but Divinity leans towards healing whilst still doing dps, where Vengeance is more about AoE damage through heals being turned into nukes, and Cleansing Fire. At this point it seems that way.

divinity does get the increased crit and crit damage at the end of the tree. so the idea that vengance is more damage is very debatable i think.

They're really quite intertwined. When I say "slightly biased", I mean "slightly biased". Divinity adds stuff like stamina regen to your heals, gives you a fear/charm wipe, etc., but the top talent is an AoE spell. Vengeance gives you improved healing as its top spell. If you like the idea of healing spirits, go Vengeance. You'll do just fine.

Right now I feel lance of mitra is my most valuable spell. I really cannot sing its praises enough.

The only thing really tearing me up right now is whether i go up veng. for cleansing fire, or go up the priest tree for vengeance of the gods (I have no idea what kind of numbers this ability has but it SOUNDS good)

I'm actually specced Divinity right now at 24. At 30 I'll respec to http://feats.goonheim.com/priestofmi...b5c5f3j3l2m1t2 and then work my way back into the divinity tree I think. I really do want to hit the end of Divinity, with all those awesome damage/crit buffs stacked at the bottom.

But AoE is key in this game, so those 30 pts. in Vengeance are going to be nice.

Cleansing Fire hits for about 75% of the damage of Smite and is instant cast. I use it on single targets sometimes just to finish them off, and in groups it's great. Just don't get the DoT talent.
