Dont we get a fear? Im level 34 and i wasnt sure what level we got it. Also how good is this fear anyone know? We need some sort of CC other than our **** root.

We get the fear at level 70. It seems to break sometimes on damage, but I haven't extensively tested it.

The question is, what do we do for those 5 seconds? We don't have any ranged attacks so what, we just stand there and wait for them to come back?

5 seconds means they can't run too far.

Sounds like a great time to charge up pillar of flame, and run at them.

Then you get a hellfire breath, etc, they are toast.

I have been feared by necros, you don't run, you just cower where you are for the duration.

That would be awesome. So, I guess we can use Fear on a barb, let them cower, charge up a huge hit.

can an1 confirm that the fear is not like WoW's fear where u run around. If not that might be one of the MOST crucial spells fo pvp

All fears on NPCs send them running. Yet the same fear on a person has them bend over like "rest" for a few seconds with a pretty high chance to break on dmg. Nevertheless, this is exactly what we need to get off a few shots when someone tries to run away...because it happens every fight I am winning...they just run off and I cant kill them with normal slashes, and Word of Command is a joke, it actually works like 20% of the time its cast.
