What is that thing in the lower middle portion of my screen that pops up when I engage in melee combat? I'm a dark templar if it helps and I'm not referring to shield indicators.

I think it has something to do with my combo's but it's not clear. I actually broke down and read the manual it was not listed. I know it's part of the combat system but combat never lasts long enough to make a detailed examination.

Are you talking about the combat rose? Has a life bar and buttons on it you can click? The buttons are for your directional attacks. Its just a fancy way of display the attack buttons and your life bar.
