Default Geforce Go 7900 GS 256mb Drivers

I tried three sets of nvidia releases. The original Dell ones, the updated dell ones. But I still get the BSOD. I got the latest third party laptop drivers (forgot the sites name). I don't know what else to do.

Does anyone know of a driver that will work for me?

Not sure your OS, but I have the same setup:

7900 GS Go OC (600/1200)

Use the thread here http://forums.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=6180 and follow the instructions exactly. As for the driver to use, get the file here http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/nvidia...ries/17516.exe, extract it and download this file http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/infs/1...6/nv4_disp.inf into the extracted directory, overwriting the file there. Install the drivers when the instructions in that thread tell you to.

You can get them from here then: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/...howtopic=18547.

Just click on Driver to get the installer file, then Modified INF for the second file to replace the existing one.

I wanted to let you know that those drivers are working beautifully and I bought an extra 2 gigs of memory today and now the game is running great with all settings on high (no AA) even with bloom on.

I really appreciate the help.

My Computer:
Dell Inspiron 9400
Windows XP
Dual Core 1.73GHz
2 gigs RAM DDR2 667
Geforce Go 7900 GS 256mb

I thank you for your help.

Oh and your card is overclocked? Think I could do the same to mine?
