It doesn't seem to be giving me credit for cutting the Gems. Is there something I am not doing right?

I have the same thing. The quest is very vague and so far the ones I've cut have not given me updates.

Same problem here, as well, it seems that the smallest gem size is 5 and all the slots for tier1 are size 1...

Same here, cut like 10 gems and not one went toward quest.

Confirming also that skills leveling is not applying for the quest. Did 3 gem cuts. Also can anyone tell me how to apply it to a weapon? For example 1 get gives a 5% stam life tap as a consumable.

the items are sorted alphabetically.

ya its not there, i sorted by name and looked and all the items on the vendor are red as in i cant use them, nothing white =/

i'am not even sure if i got the quest lol nothing i do seams to go to a qiest update and the trainer wont give me a quest
