I am have a sound issue. My ambient and music all work but when I am talking to a quest giver I have no sound during the cut scene is this normal or am i supposed to be able to hear them talk?

Bump, sme issue here. All was fine until I left Tortage, now none of the cutscenes have sound at all.

Same here. I did a full file check on login, a database verify/repair from the settings button on the login page. I also defragged my HD.

I got so frustrated I made a new toon to see if I needed a fresh install or not, and lo and behold I got voice acting and cut scenes on a new toon.

So I am baffled at this point.

Glad to see I am not alone in this.

If I turn up my sound real loud I can almost hear grunts and maybe some speach but it started for me all the sudden. Was working then next time I logged in it was not working. Like I had said I have all other sound except for that portion.

I'm having the same issue, if I turn up my volume I can barely hear them, otherwise I can't hear quest dialogue at all.

I had problems with this using my 5.1 settings. Center channel is the only channel that you can really hear these voices. If you are using 5.1, increase your center channel volume.

Will give that a try. Hope it works It would be nice to have but not all that important because I prefer to read them. Just wish they would work for the epic questline things lol.
