They spawn a vendor that sells food and alcohol. Basically complete garbage of no worth what-so-ever.
(apples, pears, grog, asgardian stout, alimane Red, etc.)

I spotted one at Conalls Valley. It had various sorts of bottled alcohol, with a price range from 10C to 50C.
