Default AoC Community Survey #6 RESULTS

Here's the latest survey results for the community to digest.

I find it interesting that the playerbase might be a tad bit more concerned about item appearance and diversity than they are about a comparison of stats. Hopefully, the new reitemization FC is talking about for Q1 has taken that side into consideration. The much needed gem overhaul needs to find its way here as well to give some much needed utility to crafted gear again.

Well lets hope they take this survey and take a good look.

It'd be nice to get what the people want.

plus when they mentioned the camel it made me think of silkroad online....that was about the only cool thing to that game.

Great work, Wexx!

Even though variety in appearance of Tiered gear had a higher % than greater stat progression, they were more even than I expected them to be.

Thanks again for all of your surveys!

I think the appearance went on top because most of us know about them telling about itemization overhaul coming in the near future, something in which probably will have nothing to do with us or what is wanted, so it might seem a bit more realistic if we ask for some new look/styles =) That's what my brain is telling me anyways.

Wexx thank you for putting out this survey. That said...

I honestly hope and pray that funcom doesnt take this survey result to heart. I couldnt even read on past the guild city section where the top 4 results were houses and fountains.

Sigh. I cant even express my true opinion on this matter without deriding elements of this community that are weighing in disproportinately so I wont.

Just realize that you are probably getting the results of (casual?) rp-pve'rs. Notice that the pvp sections at the beginning have a majority of no opinion . How can you trust a survey when 57% of the respondents have "no opnion" on one of the questions?
The idea that any color armor (pink platemail anyone? thats fun), player housing, item variety (NOT STATS BUT LOOKS? cmon you wont even wear that armor for more than a week while you are leveling until you reach 80 gear), and worst of all: an emphasis on greater LOOKS over STATS for the itemization process are all the most pressing issues to aoc is disgusting.

This isnt neopets. Were not making cool little AoC dolls for our myspace pages. This is supposed to be a competitive pvp game. Lets keep it that way. Toys can come later, lets get the core gameplay settled out.

I like how there were a lot of 'no opinion' results.

Makes me believe the game is balanced but just needs a small tweak here and there, and nothing drastic needs to change. That is a positive result for FC.
