The patcher will give some people the right link and some the wrong link..I signed on and went to the dl link and saw a blue dl box..My fiancee saw a yellow box..If you see the yellow box it may not work..Several guidees are having this same problem..This site works and my fiancee finally got the dl and recieved the info needed to sign in..First go here and dl the file

Then use the prog..and choose a destination to zip the files into. then go to the file at the destination and use the dx setup..that will get you back into the game...Hope this helps somebody...Moroseth

Having the same issue. I even turned the firewall off for a few mins to see if I could install without it in the way. Still getting the message that says "check connection or try again later".

This blow-ith! I'm level 36! MUST GET MOUNT! haha

Make sure you're updating with DirectX 9.25 here:

The client is throwing you a link to a 9.0c DirectX update that doesn't work and won't be enough to get you properly updated. Ironically, after you patch and you no longer need the correct link to the correct version, that's when Funcom's client will actually *give* you the correct link.
