I've been an avid critic of Funcom's attention to sieges since prelaunch, and lemme tell ya.
They WORK now!!!
Last night, I think was the most intense, dramatic, hardcore siege I've ever seen.
You could taste the hate in the air, lol.
Already some 200 posts in less than 24 hours, and it feels like the morning after the prom.

Guards work! They weren't fixed on testlive even, but they are now! The aggro level and strength of the guards was perfect. And they actually didn't attack a single defender!
My side saved our keep, we had inferior fighters, many were in their 50's-70's, but we had considerably more sieging experience than the attackers and a whole lotta <3.
Ballistas and Trebuchets worked
perfectly.
Lag was less than any siege I have ever been a part of (this was my 11th hotly contested siege), with a full 48 on 48.
I will add a video to this thread sometime late tonight or maybe tomorrow, I operated ballistas most of the fight, so I had a great bird's eye view.
We lost in points by like 800? And our inner keep wall was breached with 15 minutes left, our inner keep itself took damage in the last 3 minutes of the fight, dropping to 91% in two or three hits.
Sieges FTW!
