Hmmm doesn't make a lot of sense. Guildies CAN and DO show up (on their lowbies) to help out all the time. Look how successful RIP is for example.

New players who roll on a PvP server just need to realize that there is no WoW type alliances - other than what guilds decide on (allies) between each other. That means your ass is mine if I catch you strolling along White Sands or in the Underhalls like Pollyanna doing your lowbie quests. Just don't cry when PvP happens on a PvP server. Expect it. Go to Ach Ruins for safe to leveling.

Same. There are a few of us who keep lowbies on Cimmeria, to answer the call when a guildy / ally needs help in White Sands / Underhalls.

i dont find WS that bad, at low levels most quests dont go very far from the first rez pad/zone, and later on you can defend yourself against some classes

infact lvl 6-10 i prefer WS, no one wants to kill me because they will become criminals, then they cant run to the guards

Great thread.

Quite a few months back I could have used this input as a newbie. I went through five different characters and a keyboard on Cimmeria before I finaly got used to the reality of PVP on Cimmeria. I left for so long as to raise a guardian to lvl 51 in Ironspine before I just got so bored that I returned to Cimmeria with a new attitude.
If I had a chance I would engage in pvp to rackup at least a litte pvp exp. You sometimes get some pvp exp even after losing a fight depending on how well you do I guess. And if I was being "farmed" by a higher level or a group I would sheath my weapon and turn my back to them and tell them "good fight" after they kill me. No snarky foul language or anything, just silence or "good fight". After 4 or 5 kills on you they usualy get bored and move on. Once I got a little annoyed and searched out the ganker, ran to him, turned my back, he killed me, did it again. This went on for about 10 kills. He told me that I was wierd and HE zoned out and I had the place(UH) all to my self.

Another thing you have to remeber is WS/UH is unlike any other area in AOC.

Those are the only 2 areas in All of AOC were you CANT call on a higher lvl player to help you from Gank/Griefing.

Those are also the only 2 areas in AOC were 21st-25th lvl player can prey on players doing there 1st-20 lvl quest,in a 1st-20th lvl area.

Its just a safe place for players who suck a PVP to kill lowbies with no threat of the same done to them,and a place for Griefers to Bully.

Dont get me wrong WS/UH is some of the funest pvp/questing ive had in the game.
That is until a group of 21st-25ths comes rolling in gankin and griefing ruining everyones fun.

Using the diffrent instances helps somtimes.
Too bad brand new players usualy dont know about the diffrent instances,
and probly think all of AOC is like WS/UH when it is Not.
