DarkUI v1.05.7

The version numbers have been changed to follow AoC current versions. Spells Panel is now fixed (shows additional pages of spells) and uses reduced Icon sizes. All other Panels display as same as stock and as expected.



This is the UI I am currently using after we had tried most of them that looked nice, but I also wanted good function as well, this one seems do do very well, very configurable.

The UI was reworked by Zekk and a few other including some mods by me.

I am listing it in two ways, one with a small ComboBox similar in size to AOC's original one.

And second one is with my ComboBox, I created it to be more visible with peripheral vision, in other words you dont have stare right at it, it is also transparent and I made some pretty cool graphics for it that go with the game, Conan's Sword.

You will find a link to either one to download it from my server, the link is located just below the picture preview's below, the original can also be found on sites like curse.com and as well as the AOC forums.

I am also including an application below that is used to update the version number's of files in the GUI when patch time come around, if you don't have this and can't manually edit the files yourself, then your fancy GUI will not work any longer.

This UI is fully bindable for use with the in game Bindings Editor you find by hitting F10 and choosing option "Controls", the image posted below is included with the UI and can be found in the readme folder, you can refer to it for action bar placement.

Also my ComboBox mod is setup to use the "R" and the "T" for the Attack Down Left and Right buttons, this is instead of the default "Q" and "E" as I have remapped those functions in my settings to use the other keys, by doing this you must change the default "Quick Reply Key "R" mapping and use something else for quick reply (maybe cntrl+R) instead. If you are accustomed to playing with the Q and E keys then download the skin with the ComboBox images changed for using the default key and I have included it below.

So if you use the Q and E in your combo's, you want this skin, if you use R and T (im probably the only person that does?) then downlod the UI that I posted above.

If you would like the images changed to some other keys that you have changed the mapping to, then message me and we will change them for you, of course I will have to charge you 50 GOLD in game, lol, nah, just message me and we will try to get it done for you asap.

GUI UPDATE PROGRAM
and Finally you will need the Application below to patch your GUI at patch time, the application can be found on the AOC Forums as well as many other sites like curse.com, it is called ByCrom.

INSTALL DIRECTIONS

To install a GUI you will need to follow these directions below, they are all pretty much the same, but you should always read the included ReadMe files and folders.

Requirement:
For this UI, the only thing you need is for your AoC to operate at a minimum of 1024x768 resolution.


HowTO:
Step 1.
Shut down AoC (yes you little addict, close it for 10 seconds)

Step 2.
Go to your game folder:
Method 1: Navigate to it.
Method 2: Right Click your AoC link, then click on "Open File Location"

Step 3.
Once in the AoC folder:
Go to folder: \Data\Gui\

Example = C:\Program Files\Funcom\Age of Conan\Data\Gui

Then, delete the "Customized" folder. This way we remove other custom GUI's.

Now, Unzip the contents of ZekkzyUI.zip or if other GUI_Name.zip inside the "Gui" folder.


Step 4.
Run the game, should anything go wrong, go back and do it again.

Step 5.
So you did it right, congratulations.
Now take a look at the: layout.jpg and then configure yer keys.

Step 6.
check out \Data\gui\Custom\readme\bindings.jpg

Step 7.
Go kill something.

UI updated to 1.05.6, of course works with game version 1.05.6...

Some minor UI fixes, the "selected Item Box" above the right side of the GUI body will now display properly.

That is it, have fun, kill stuff....

We have updated the UI for the new Veterans/Tokens system, as it came to our attention that after 1.05.6 a tokens button was added to the right of your money view in the Inventory panel of the stock Conan UI.

As now DarkUI will show this button in your inventory panel as the stock one does.

Is there a a way to make the quest update message text a little bigger, it got smaller and changed from gray to yellow small letters with this UI. Can that be changed?

Great job on the UI, I used to use it back when it was Zekkzy's, I have tried many since, right now with StoneRune but the author seems to be absent. How hard would it be to to make this UI work for a person with a G13 game Pad Simplicity tried but there was not enough buttons for all the other key Binds on my G15. It is nice having 60 buttons, Four row is cool, wish I could get 5.

I use the UI with my G11 keyboard, all my keys are remapped using the in game "F10/Controls" ActionBar editor to remap what functions the keys do. You will find a File called "bindings.jpg" included with the UI in the Readme folder to help with binding the keys. I have also added the bindings image to the main post in this thread.
