Thread: A question

You do realise you are comparing with only you having to debuff for your own, right ?Strawman is a good indicator, parsing stuff at raids and groups is way better way of judgement though.Weapon damage stacking in groups and raids is much more efficient and better scaling than what you get on strawman alone.

Anyway, also about feated EoX you can also choose to use it or not use it depending on the timing and your judgement but i don't understand not having it.Also lets assume you need to debuff and you don't have the instant inferno curse.Does it kill your dps ?No.

Unfeated Inferno Curse has cast time of 1,5 seconds. If you are doing 2000dps, that "costs you" 3000 dmg in wasted time every time you want to cast it. Having that done instantly is nice...

Feating Flame Lash is a waste unless you do it for the purpose of trash mobs and bragging rights for highest crit. Casting time of 2,5 seconds, if you are doing 2000 dps, it would have to average hit on 5000 and it does absolutely not.

2nd selfresurrection is absolutely not needed since Red Shadows has a cooldown of only 8 minutes. Its basically ready for every boss pull. If you die twice during an boss fight, you are or someone else is doing something seriously wrong.

There is no one build "to rule them all", and since we can have five feat specialisations, I see no reason to hold on to the utility of Possession when you aren't going to need it for the single target fights.

Feating flame lash purely for inferno. You don't like inferno, your choice,i used it even in my hell on earth build. Also in a raid enviroment all that debuffing offers you nothing on hox. There are 3 classes doing it better.

There is no build to rule them all,i can agree with that. But i prefer to spend 15 points on other things than 2 bad dots(one from a bad combo) and a shitload of fire cr that is good on paper but under-performs everywhere, at least for me.

Inferno is definitely good! I've never said its bad. Just that it takes a while to stack up vs single targets, and stuff got to be alive a while after you activate it so it can run out its durance. With several targets, Inferno is godlike! It was my single target build you criticized.

I am saying it's good for single target too

i've seen you die 3 times on a single boss, with your demo, so i would advise you to take it...

In a raid with 2x toses, only if one tos has Leviathans Call running you'll see "100%" uptime on Elemental Ruin, and only if the toses are aware about rotating it correctly. This is really rare, most often 2x toses, even 3x toses will manage to stack their Curses.

I feel like Im more likely to keep IC off cooldown when it's instant. So that's the differencemaker right there. An Inferno Curse at my disposal whenever I want, or an Inferno Curse Im somewhat only using if I really see the need or opportunity (precast, for example)

Those 3 points are fine and that's a valid reason,i mainly disagree with the whole hell on earth line but well it's been discussed enough on more than 1 thread now

They need to make Hell on Earth affect everyone standing in it, giving hoxes some supportability. It's an easy fix the way I see it.

I agree, it seems currently Hell on Earth is not up to par with Inferno + Glorious Exul
