    Default 1440p

The Asus ROG Swift PG278Q Premium Gaming Monitor will be released in July and I have been wanting it ever since it was announced earlier this year. I plan on purchasing it as soon as it is available. The monitor offers a slew of highly coveted technologies! However, I was thinking about it just the other day and was wondering... I have never played AoC outside the resolution of 1080p... Is anyone playing AoC at 1440p??? I am sure the game supports 1440p but figured I had better ask...

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Rohaus

I use a 2560x1440 display as I mentioned in a post here the other day (http://goo.gl/xWh3sy).

The drawback is the loss in FPS as you can see in the pictures..
    But it's worth it..

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 2047MB

Everything is maxed out in AoC, but I don't know why it came up with 46FPS couple of minutes ago..
Logged in one more time and it showed 66FPS.

This is without shadow and gras, everything else is almost on max:

Yeah, 2560x1440 is awesome - you won't want to go back. You do take a fps hit, but a decent card will still run it at max settings anyway. Except maybe during huge crowds for world bosess - the nametags and particles hammer vid cards. My 7970 is not super recent, but runs max settings fine.

I purchased a Galaxy HOF 780 back in November. It runs the game perfectly... I can't imagine I will lose that much FPS by going up to 1440p.

I just wish AoC did well with SLI and or Crossfire... sadly, micro-stutter is unacceptable...

I'm using two Radeon HD 7850 and can run the game pretty much with everything set to high and still keep around 60 fps for all pvp including seiges, it did hit about 39 on world bosses though.

And no micro-stutter? Some people can't see micro-stutter... really depends on your eye sensitivity...
