    Default My Feedback to Funcom...

I've successfully sent my feedback to Funcom deeply urging them to majorly and greatly "improve" Age of Conan by delivering blockbuster content, major patches and major updates and new greatness into the game somehow folks, we must strongly pray to almighty God that Funcom actually grants my various Age of Conan requests as soon as humanly possible y'all!

That's just the thing with "freetoplay" games. The only way they survive is by adding a lot of content updates. You have to get people interested and stimulated.

AoC keeps people interested by making to take forever to get your toon up.

That's not a bad thing per se, but it's not enough. If you look at other f2p games, they have events on a regular basis, weekly temporary shop updates and what not.

What AoC lacks is an employee who is responsible for those things. I don't want to advertise other games here, but just have a look at Aion. The game itself isn't that good, but look how Gameforge handles the weekly events and shop sales. It keeps the players interested in what's coming next week.

I appreciate what Funcom did to AoC with the monthly worldboss and pvp events, but it's not nearly enough to keep a broad audience interested for a long time.

Im a returning player, just leveled a new character. I still enjoy that aspect of the game, following the storyline etc.
When I leveled my first class in WOW I played the storyline to get to know the game and areas.
The subsequent classes I for the most part used the "group search" function and just leveled thru instances. Its fast and fun.
Not having to spend xxx minutes/hours spamming "LFG" in Global.
Being able to play while the client searches for a group is win win.

BUT; AOC could benefit from a automatic group search function like WOW got. The LFG probarly works for many, but it would be nice to have the option to get automatic groups too.
Yes, you run the risk of getting inexpirienced people in the groups, and for those that want expirienced players, there is the manual way.

Im sure this has been mentioned XXX times already, but just throwing it up there.

    Default agreed

agree with you , it will open the end game at many players. It could be the way to encounter new mates and learn new tips.

In the same way, they have to work on the cross servers technology for mini games....and why not for end game instancing?

Not really Funcom related, but regular players that stream should post every time they stream.
Tbh there should be a "Stream" subsection on this forum.
When I search Twitch for "age of conan", 9 out of 10 times I dont find any streamers directly (not that Ive tried very hard).
The ones Ive seen so far Ive gotten from direct link when they post here.
If it was on the "Community Forums" level it would be easy to find and access. I quite often watch/monitor streams while playing games (second monitor) and more viewers could potentially attract a few more players.
Making another subsection under; http://forums.ageofconan.com/forumdisplay.php?f=98 would basically be free advertising.

    My 2 cents.
