Does anyone know if Slith's comments towards the end of the post hold any truth?

I don't have the bird in my inventory and am not sure if you can get it again.

You can buy a dead bird under generic on the trader btw.

Click on the dead bird and it gives a quest in dragonspine. The reward is a social flying stygian hawk pet.

The only tricky thing is finding the npc for the quest: if you get stuck send me a pm but its fun to find the first time.

The dead bird is obtained when you do the dead mans isle rare token quest (forget the name) and I think its one per character but its not a BOP item.

buy the bird or simply enter deadman's and find the guy with fancy dress and turbant every 20h you can repeat the quest that gives you the dead bird item.
