Yeah, I know it's unreasonable to be so annoyed over this, but that cuddling thing was really nice for RP and I really miss it, dammit.

I think it depends on your location. IIRC if there are ai nodes (places the NPCs can walk to), the game will push you to the next nearest valid location. If there aren't, you can hang out in other peoples' bounding boxes with crouch an stuff.

You can test whether or not you're in a valid NPC location by calling a pet out - if it dies after about 5 seconds, you're in an invalid location and it's probably ok to cuddle. As long as no one sees you.

I would not say being frustrated over FC's habit of breaking half the goddamn game with every major patch unreasonable.

Nope, when I had Kashta doing her thing with Maark I did have a pet out, and tried to crouch/sqaut over him (gotta get up close and personal for the hell she was putting him through) and as soon as I did /squat it slid her about 3 game feet to the right.

I haven't done extensive research, for all I know hiding works where crouching doesn't, but it is pretty irritating. I want that option back. I can't think of one instance where it would be a problem, but I know a lot of instances where it helps with the immersion...even if you do have to get in a silly crouching position to set yourself up.

Cuddling will remain broken until I deem it necessary to re-code the error. Until then... all cuddling in Conan will be BROKEN! And all who cuddle will be banned.
