Exclamation [Misc] - SOUNDS

Sounds... Sounds... Did I mentioned SOUNDS!
Spell casting is incredibly low compare to combat sounds.
This is also true for few other sounds that use to be in game such as quest update no longer makes sounds, riding horse dose not make sounds, etc...
But the main issue is this effecting the game play that we can not hear the heals or casting however to hear these I have to turn the sound effect to max but the combat sound becomes extremely loud!
As it stand drawing weapon in game is ten time louder then casting spells.

Multiple crashes zoning in and out of BRC. When you crash zoning, your toon doesnt get kicked out of the game and you keep crashing every time you try to login again until your toon is kicked from the game.

Target of target is not working as intended
When the target switches to a different target, the targets target indicator will not also switch to the new target.
If I tab target off my target then back the targets target indicator updates.

Its a very annoying bug.

Lots of crashes while zoning into BRC wing 1 & 2 for guildies.

Lots of crashes while in Iron Tower for guildies and myself.

EXTREMELY long load time while zoning in/out of Iron Tower. (please put rez pad back inside and gate doors during boss fights! Maybe even a 2nd rez pad near top like Sanctum)

Crashes are occuring in different zone, that I can pin them down it seems like int calculations or float calculations are colliding between the client side and server side. In example when I am on my DT in E Mnt and I grab massive aggro, as a Hybrid spec Tailsman DT I push out alot of Mitigation numbers, debuffs, Damage over time and self heals.
I see these same issues propagate when I am in like wing two and if my shader, particles, incoming damage, out going and Mitigations numbers are not all turned off.
Seems like the Server looses Client side connection then vise versa, I get insertion fails, that I have recovered from, some I have not. 1 in 3 red bars results in getting booted then logging in Dead some where.
Seems like when these Deadlocks occur either waiting for a write lock to server side transaction table or Insertion failure. Deadlock detection seems to be choosing the server side either by criteria or arbitration. If the user does not log in the same Avatar, they stay locked out till the resource is freed up that caused the deadlock, and if they login the same avatar they accept the consequences of an unattended avatar.
While my opinions are my own, I feel that if AOC were to go to a more precise method of using ints versus floats, all the numbers running around might retain more integrity.

I agree that it could be deadlocks on table insertions or updates. Personally, I have only crashed when zoning. Perhaps when zoning the table that holds the avatar location is being deadlocked. It also seems to be more of a problem when a LOT of people are zoning at once, ie when our 24 man raid zones into brc 5 or 6 people crash at once. When someone is zoning into the raid late, they dont seem to crash as frequently.

When the crash occurs during zoning you can no longer log that toon. Everytime you try, you crash again.

The guys with XP or vista 32 seem to be having the most probs with crashing, so im thinking its a hardware compatibility issue, maybe something to do with the 32 bit video drivers.
On the zoning side, I'm having zero problems, running vista 64 8Gigs, off the self Best Buy HP

I think my rig can handle this little old game, Most of my concerns lie with in the code compiling or the subversion maintenace of previous versions, As a developer those are my concerns, if regression testing is done and the Test were actually a mirror of the current production there would be more of a seemless transition. I fully under stand change, but when change breaks operable levels of the application it is usually from one of the following above noted factors.
I for one still wonder if they use ints intergers or Floats.
an Int is a whole number sans the decimel point ie... 65 a float is 65.65 Floats take an heck of alot of space. It is massivly ineffcient and a serious Memory waste. and above all else you can never really compare two floats to each other 65.65 to 65.65 will never really be equal due to the possiblity of a variable in the tens, hundreds and thousands. Floats breed inefficency for a result that is nominal. All our gear is in ints and our mitigation is in Floats.

Characters such as rangers, Tos with spark up still getting two death stones, and not sparking up. Zones like the villa for the spirit quests, leaves two death penalties with no chance to recover even one death stone when booted out of the villa.

Tier one raids, causing mulitiple crashes. Leading to runtime erros when trying to log back in to failure to get into the account at all with Failure to authenticate with character server error.

4 hour foods going down time to time.

Frame rates in places like iron tower, causing terrible lag issues.

Not sure if this is a glitch with latest patch as I started the game about the time that patch was added, but cannot post items for sale at the Traders and though I have tried to buy components from the Traders and it will let me select usable, purchasable items and I believe it takes my money, after the purchase....no item.
