    Default Question to Game Developers: PvP Gear: PoM vs ToS

    Just curious why two priest classes, Tos and PoM, that use same light armor, have such a difference in stats: such as constitution, armor, protection and mana regeneration. ToS has about 220 protection more than PoM, which is about the same amount than PoM picks up from feating general tree. And PoM has way less natural mana regen than ToS in pvp gear, while having huge issues with mana management.

    Could you balance the two priest gear so its similar? Before pvp gear rewamp amount of armor, protection and constitution used to be the same. Or somehow comment atleast on why there is such a big difference? And no 220 protection is not small difference, its pretty big.

    i find it weird that you are having mana problems with a pom...

    tos has WAY more mana problems. On my tos i never have any mana, pom never runs out.


    also, if you think that 10 mana regen will make any diff, that is only like.. 2.5 mana a second, not much and sure wont make any difference.

    yes me too i need more protec more armor and more mana regen and more hp and plz funcom wake up 6 year the pom are out of mana

    Maybe TOS has more defensive stats because it is a melee range caster? Also TOS have more mana regen because it actually needs it lol. It's clear you dont play TOS, but rejoice OP! You play one of the most OP classes at the moment, stop complaining

    I still find it weird, that devs try to balance class inbalance through gear. This is a vicious circle without a good theoretic system behind it.

    Had they one, they would not have clearly better gear for one class, but rather the same budget with different focus (e.g. if pom has more prot on gear, tos would get better regen or dps etc.).

    The differences in budget with pvp gear is ridicolous though.

    Read the mana cost for each spell for tos and pom.you might understand why we have a small mana regen boost over poms.

    if i don't feat Saintly Martir on pom I run out of mana super fast, the reason is because PoM primary role is cc and heal, and cc cost a lot of mana, while running in vengeance every time you heal you spend extra mana on purification of mitra, thats how you quickly run out of mana - run around cc enemy and heal your group

    and regarding tos being melee mage...well tos has many instruments for survival, it is harder class then pom to play, but it is very strong too, and all healers are pretty much melee, because you have to heal your tank and melees

    and as someone said, giving two classes from same architype wearing same armor types different stats budgets is just wrong

    You're asking them to balance two completely different classes by making them identical?

    Wake up, that's like saying give the ranger strength cause it loses armour vs a medium BS...

    They excell as different roles tbh

    what i am asking to to balance gear, and hm your comparison is silly, ranger to bs and tos to pom...pom and tos is same archetype wearing same armor type doing pretty much same roles, tos is a slightly different class or pom is a slightly different class...why the hell 2 identical classes...but they are both healers ffs, and if so to say if in your opinion tos is more of a dps healer i do agree on that, but then why tos has more armor, prot and const? it should have more damage then, and now it jut has more everything: more prot, armor, const, mana regen, magic damage (after recounting wisdom)

    i just dont see why there is different stats budget for 2 light armor priests
