    Funcom Server Merge - Known Issues and Information

    • We have currently disabled the offline level system. This means your available offline levels will show 0 until we re-enable the system again.
      UPDATE: Offline levels are available again.


    • If you have logged out in your guild city instance before the server merge, you will have to leave the instance and re-enter for the city to show up correctly.

    • We are aware of the issue that some players appear to no longer be part of their guild. This is an issue that will be corrected with the next maintenance/restart downtime (planned for tomorrow, September 12th). We also plan to have such restarts on a daily basis for the time being, until we see the issue has been fixed.
      UPDATE: Players should now be in their appropriate guilds. Buildings and buffs should be working properly. We will continue to evaluate the need for daily restarts, but they may not be needed.
      UPDATE II: The issue has been fixed with yesterday's maintenance. So daily restarts are not needed.

    • Missing in-game mail
      We have been looking into this issue thoroughly. It is indeed the case that in-game messages have not been moved with the server merge and are now lost.
      Items that were attached to messages are still in the senders bank inventory, so these are not lost. What has been removed during the merge though is any gold that was attached to messages.
      Our DB Admins and Customer Service are currently looking into possibilities on how this gold can be reimbursed. We have to ask you for a little bit more patience on that topic until we have more information.

    • Battlekeeps on Crom
      The server Crom was restarted on September 13th to address not being able to claim Battlekeeps. We will continue to monitor this issue going forward. Please send an in game petition if you experience any troubles claiming a Battlekeep.

    • Missing Bags and Inventory
      If you have noticed that your inventory bag is missing, please submit a petition in game. Customer Service will assist you as soon as possible. The contents of the bag are not lost, they just cannot be accessed until the bag is replaced. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

    This was a fix (not a patch but a database script) for the duplicate items bug that we saw after the merge. The fix was unfortunately a bit too aggressive and deleted some items from players who should legitimately have them.

    There is, however, no way to miraculously restore those items perfectly, because there were many people with duplicates and many of those items were being used to exploit.

    If any of your characters are missing items, you will need to submit a petition to the GMs who will be able to return the missing items. We will need to process this manually and I apologise that there will be some delays as the queue for GM support will be longer than usual.

    Finally, I'd like to stress that this affects a relatively small percentage of the population. We should be able to clear this up quickly with a little patience and perseverance.

    Sincere apologies to anyone and everyone this affects. We are reviewing how this went wrong and updating the operating procedures accordingly.
