I understand that it's EU prime time for raiding right now, but you guys are truly surprising me.

So many posts about 'we need fixes, we need updates, we need answers NOW!!' and then when something happens you guys get upset and say 'OMG why now!? WAIT til I'm done playing!'

Funcom just can't win no matter which way you look...


Edit - the US servers were down a half hour. 30 minutes. That does not destroy your whole night. For those of you guilds that are raiding, sure it's a bit of a hastle, but you can reform the raid and get right back in there, just may need to clear some trash over again.

Bottom line; poor planning, better times are (and were given) available to mitigate EU & US prime time, and we get "tough s*** .. deal with it you cry-babies" ?

With the staff relocating; there had to be a skeleton crew when the idea was pitched ~ it's the only answer. FUNCOM staff is some of the best and brightest in the field.

As a U.S. player ~ I am not seeing any lag issues or performance problems.

Yeah server down times suck, they regularly happen during Oceanic raiding times but you don't see the amount of complaints about it like there are here. No it wasn't the best timing and could have been thought out better but it doesn't matter when they do the server maintenance or restart someone is going to be inconvenienced.

However getting some notice about it is always nice then people can at least plan around it slightly rather than just getting an hour warning in game when you're already in the middle of the raid but every server was taken down so something happened and hopefully things will be running better afterwards. (a little optimism helps)
