Just started, already more than USD 300k (one third of funding goal) in pledges.
WATCH the video, READ the info, and PAY. A lot.

update:
awwwwwwww they ditched the Planescape setting ((((((( I will miss Sigil, like a lot. Probably will back it anyway, but if it was Planescape I would be putting in my credit card details right now.

How much of Planescape was in Torment anyway? Do you love PS:T because of the lore/setting or because of all the characters, dialogues and stories Black Isle created? Sure we had Lady of Pain, Sigil - without BI work, those would be just hollow names.
After watching the videos and concepts you can see the whole concept is very similar and I have no doubt they will deliver another deep experience.
If you go by the amount of information they put on the kickstarter page, it will sure be deep. Apparently, they are having trouble including their updates on the front page since their first post already reached the word count
Already at USD 1.65 million, at 2 million Monte Cook will join the team (rather than just serve as an external "adviser" on his own setting). Looking forward to the next stretch goals, even though given the amount I've pledged already I'm not sure whether I really want to up it. But then, I thought the same when the P:E kickstarter got started...
