Sounds like someone gets pwned or has a crap feat tree.

Seriously now DT's have some stupid things that need to be better but I have not had problem with them. I'm Lvl 79 and do just fine for myself.

Exhibit C

-The variance on damage dealt by unholy-based Soul Covenants has been reduced to make the damage more consistent. Average damage was not modified by this change.
-Covenant of Putrescence should now have the correct base damage across all levels
-Covenant of Putrescence now deals unholy damage instead of poison damage
-Unholy-based Soul Covenants now gain a significant percentage of the Dark Templar's unholy or magical damage.
-Malacodor's Blight, Sadistic Soul, Blighted Touch, Blighted Soul, Touch of Death, and Curse of Gwahlur now gain a minor amount of the Dark Templar's unholy or magical damage
-Talisman Mastery has been improved to additionally grant a moderate amount of +unholy magical damage when active
-Talisman Mastery has been modified to be a percentage increase of the modified damage of a Soul Covenant instead of the base damage

Since that stuff mention before puts back to our previous level.Then any other addition is boost to dark templar.

"Additionally, Dark Templars are currently being reviewed for improvements and additions in their core skills and feat trees."

This was posted on June 27,The patch is coming on July 9,that gave funcom more than enough time to add some more stuff.


Now it is your turn give so proof that it is nerf.You can't even use past history as an example because best example the necro class is one of the most complaint about class now because of their effectiveness at draining and beating stuff.So if "so called nerf" means i can kill stuff and have a definite role then nerf me

I will repeat again so maybe the people who like say "necro fix "like it means something will understand.DT don't have any "role",It is impossible to funcom to rationally say anything on DT need toned down,DTs currently are average at everything,master of nothing.If funcom give us a "role" like the necro class and pvp spec like necro class got ,we will be happy.Unlike the necro we don't a have a feat tree to nerf into useless both feat tree suck.Anything funcom does will be improvement to what we have now.Anything.

There is no confirmed buff in the upcoming patch. Them giving us spell coeffcients should have been there from the beginning. If they'd properly tested us to begin with-they would of had them before release.

It's not a buff-it's a fix to their prior mistake.

I wanna make a DT named "Falloutboy"

Poor emo kid. Dark Templars should also have some of the female customizations. Like short hair with long bangs covering the eye. Maybe some eye shadow. How freaking ga....err cool would that be !?

What you are saying is true but what about the stuff are not spell coeffcients fixes and anybody who can read could see that everything posted was just not putting back what should have been their already.

Didn't read it all haven't been to the forums, just saw blah blah blah we're getting buffed, we're gettin coeffcients so that's what I was responding to, didn't realize that added some more to the confirmation list.

Still have yet to see anything that'll make my mana pool do something besides reduce my HP and stam. Even speccing SB/DS doesn't seem to have really done anything all that useful.

If I were you guys I would not get your hopes built up at all for upcoming DT patches. You do know that the necro fixes were called "loving" by AoC's game director? He either has no idea what is going on, is delusional, or a compulsive liar.

Anyway, hopefully you guys won't be getting the necro's version of "buffs".

here is the thing guys, most games have a cookie cutter mode that forces people to look at a class and say yep..... thats it that is the build we all need to have to work "as intended"

For once a game has made different builds a viable option. The feat trees in the DT class allow us to build our DT differently and still be viable as a tank / offtank.

I am level 65 at the moment I can take 3 and sometimes 4 level 70 mobs solo with out much problem. Casters eat my lunch and light me up like a freakin christmas tree unless I can group them and keep them in range so I can beat there freakin ass.

I have no problem in pvp with my build and I can take a massive amount of dmg and dish out a decent amount of dps. I really have no idea what anyone is complaining about as far as this class goes.

There is really no class that I can think of in another mmo that comes close to this class its very original and plays awsomely. The closest thing to it is maybe a Shadow Knight in the old EQ.

I dont know I love the class it works and I am happy if ya dont go role something else .....
