Don't you get access to Gateway even if you don't buy the Expansion pack? heck even f2p gets access to Gateway... How is that a justification to pay for additional content?

That being said I am subbed and have purchased RotGS and IMHO it is worth it. I do share the concern of the original poster when/if ever I stop sub what happens to my investment in the expansion.
