    Question New WB/PVP Idea - Figure of Lore

    Not sure if this should be under the PVP or General topics.

    Here's the pitch:

    We have a WB spawn, but let it be a specific Figure of Lore like Set or Xotli, in either a new type of mini or an open world location.

    Here is the difference to the current WB scenario: This figure has the ability to "Charm" a particular class to their side. So Set would charm TOS onto It's side, Xotli would charm HOXs...

    So what this does is turns just that class against the rest of the people who show up. In order to balance this a bit maybe the "Charmed" class gets a buff or two of some kind. The players still retain control of their avatars, and now they do damage to other classes and vice versa. Not sure how to balance out PVP points for kills or deaths, maybe leave it out completely, or give everyone who participates a certain number of PVP tokens. The Figure of Lore has HP and abilities like any WB, and drops PVP loot instead of PVE loot, along with the usual assortment of fillers.

    So just a fledgling idea I'm throwing out there, pick apart, trash, or embellish as needed.

    No more Gullah-like stuff, please. I'd rather have the PvP event last more than 1 week or have the duration between each event reduced.

    Why so complicated? Let the worldboss what it is. Just make the zone where worldboss spawns pvp-zone

    Guess my thinking on this particular type of WB setting would be to introduce a mixture of PVE/PVP type of play that might increase interest in PVP to some people who only PVE. Or just a new type of PVP that could showcase a particular class each event? Might also be an opportunity to provide some classes with the feel of other roles?
