Ice Bear problem

The Ice bear, not the epic one, also has 100% of not being staggered. But for some reason when mobs hits me I dismount in a calm ordinary fashion, and die before I can regain control of my character. Is this really supposed to be like that? Seems like a bug. The unwanted dismount seems to have replaced the knock off animation/effect. Anyone else experience same problem??

It happens often on either bear mount, especially if you are of low level. Even happens on a regular horse. Really annoying.
