What is a Raid?

I often play AoC while I am working. I had a little incident where I missed getting some Test databases up on time one night because I was distracted while doing a T1 raid. Since then my Boss has said No Raiding during work hours. So that begs the question, just how far can I push this? Is doing Golem with 23 other people a Raid? Is a World Boss a Raid? A 6 man?
