Thread: Low fps

  1. #1

    Default Low fps

    Hey guys

I currently have an r9 280 xfx dd gpu

    16gb hyper beast gaming ram

    Amd fx 8350 4.2ghz cpu
    750 corsair psu
    840 evo ssd

Would I see a greater fps performance if I replaced my cpu to Intel? If so which
Intel cpu would I need to see a difference?

I am saying this as I am getting anoyed with the low fps in Khitai areas in the little villages.

    Kind regards

Hello I run my game at 1080 only so should I stick with a 8350?

Just in Khitai areas I get 42 fps In the middle of no where and less than that in populated areas.

high clockrate duel core cpu should be enough for aoc... maybe get a better nvidia card will improve more for you.

you should upgrade to something like gtx970 for better improvement than changing cpu.

Actually he'd get a a pretty big improvement by switching to an Intel CPU. AMD CPUs are really mediocre for gaming and single threaded stuff like AoC. His GPU should be more than enough for 1080p. But that means replacing your mobo etc. and your current rig isn't bad at all so it's up to you to decide whether it's worth the hassle or not.
