Hehe, that guy is overgeared and should have killed it way faster than he did. But what he does is correct. But need to learn to get those debuffs running, if he had gotten some torments running he would have killed before he started to take damage.

And before someone say "why dont you show us a video", yes i will make one soon, just happens to be that i have been doing too much group play in this instance but i will make the video doing hardmode with a challengeing class like guard or pom. Did HM with my guard and two poms earlier today btw and that was a bit fun with the lack of good splash. Bonus hardmode for having a bad combo of classes :P

well it's clearly me, I still cant beat him with the bear, it seems I don't have the dps

I can get him down to 30ish% before I run out of npc's and he starts focusing me, doesn't matter how much kiteing I do or horn clicking he still hits me for 1500 to 1800dps a hit
I'm really not sure what else I'm missing, I kite the insta death axe, I click a horn on the reaver cast, what else is there ?

I am in the same boat. I get to a point were all I am doing is running and clicking horns (No DPS at all). He eventually catches me and one shots me.

As a bear you have bewilder to take down the last percentages if you cant take him before you run out of meatshields, i have to ask if you do debuff him before you do your big hits on the bear? Having 3-4 tourments running on him does wonders for your damage. Horn on reavers and kite after berserker is all you need to do except dps.

How many % do you manage before first and second berserker?

And even if it is hard, remember to be glad you are not a guardian There is a class that is hard in that fight, but even so it is possible, i do HM with S&S now.

I usually have him at about 50% by the second beserk, from 50 to 30% is where I lose my last meat shield then my trouble starts.

I don't know maybe I have to re evaluate my rotation, I open with man of spirit-rune of aggression and internal bleed, then wreck armor, then shrewd 5 with renewal b4 combo finisher, by then I usually have 10 stacks of wrath so I hit blood flow then bewilder then shrewd 6 and somewhere in there man of spirit has finished and I then hit man of sun

heimdall doesn't seem to be effected by bewilder

gear wise I have a mix of t2 t3 and some faction purples and aok blunt

The fight just is crazy difficult with some classes, BS probably being one of them. One needs either crazy burst damage or crazy toughness or ranged attacks.

I have the same problem in HM. I let Ylva kill him, just kite him a bit til Ylva get's aggro and then stay away, stay on the upper floor as they are fighting downstairs, just stay there and do nothing. When he is on 5% he runs to you and you can finish him. It's not the elegant way but it works

And needs a bit more time.
