No need to give it to ranger itself. Fix BS weapon damage buffs so they apply to ranged weapons aswel and rangers would get a nice boost in raids while it won't do all that much in pvp.

And if you dont have Bear Shaman in the raid? Edit by Anzu: No. and how about solo? All other classes have benefits and lets gimp the ranger Edit by Anzu: Still no.

There's really no reason to play ranger anyway !

Haha, a raid without a BS, because those happen a lot. I'm simply trying to point out that the BS weapon damage buffs like vision of the sky and rune of aggression don't affect rangers which is strange if you ask me and part of the reason why they often underperform in raids.
Rangers do have their own benefits. They for example have very strong raidwide weapon damage buffs. They are also great with their CCs and have the longest range although this is not very relevant in most raidencounters.

Solo PvE rangers are fine. In PvP they are even on the strong side which could largely be fixed by a 2nd LoS check and removing stagger from ranged weapons.

Personally I think the OP is very wrong when he says rangers should have high run speed. If anything they should have one of the lowest run speeds, smallest energypool and longest time to regen. This would be fair considering they have most range and very strong CCs to fend off chasing enemies.
