T1 conq vs Ranger dps

Why does a T1 conq have sheet dps of 282.5 with 46.3 mitigation
313.9 with 42.3 mitigation
378.0 with 13.4 mitigation

While my T1 Ranger only has dps of 275.4 with 21.4 mitigation.

So a dps class has less dps and mitigation than a soldier can anyone explain the reason behind this.

partly because ranger has aimbot from 35m, with every cc in the game at the shortest cds. yet trees work for both pve and pvp, if ranger had combos and increased trap cds a step in the right direction to fix the class would be taken

Another thing to bear in mind the base dps of ranger combos is higher than that of conks, and also that the dps listed on the character sheet is deceptive. With a 2h and brute spec my conk has a much higher base dps than my carnage conk with dw equipped, but my carnage conk has way more dps tools and about 1k more dps on sustained parses.

My 2h base dps on my conk is also about double my sin's base dps but my sin outguns my conk in either spec.
