Veteran Vendor in need of an upgrade?

I am curious to see if the community thinks the veteran vendor needs to be upgraded.

It's been a long time since anything has been added.

If improvements or additions were to be added what would you like to see Funcom address/change?

In overall, I think all the "store" in game (veteran token, gilding vendor, in-game store), need to be stacked up with new fresh thing that aren't damn morph form (or companion, to a lesser extend). I think funcom could really see some cash roll in if they made new vanity model or some retexture. Look at the gold price of the golden leopard armor... If more similar things were added regularly to the shop for a small amount of real money, it would fill Funcom's pocket really quick. I was pretty curious about the new "hoarder stash / golden chest" whatever, even though I really don't like the aspect "random casino" of it. It ended up filled with more or less nothing but morph form, which I have no interest in. I mean, we have vanity slots to fill. First chest was better, imo.

I agree. If Funcom made some simple re-skins, like a completely black tiger or a completely white wolf (with no naked spots), they could get a _lot_ of people buying them. Or a black (think Nolan's Batman black) and silver sin t4 set, for something similar to the Grey Leopard set (which sadly wasn't really a new reskin since it's been in the game forever...)

Cash shop is underused when it comes to customization (I have imagined that it would be selling new hair styles, tattoos, armors, marks, emotes and so on) and overused when it comes to lottery items.

It clearly shows that FC goes for "minimum effort with maximum gain" which is not a way to go. There is only so much you can gain with minimum effort and it must be far from real money a quality content would bring :X

I agree...This has been a very sore topic with me. Funcom could benefit from putting some more Funcom point items into the various vendors and store...I think that reskins of the mounts as well as adding some nice vanity armor would be very nice. However, FC has to fix it's purchasing process so that they don't lock players out for spending above a set threshold in set period of time. I understand that this is done for player/account safety, but I just don't know any business who locks it's purchaser's out because you spend above some threshold that is unknown to your the purchaser.

I really want to see FC do well, I enjoy the game and want to see it further developed and expanded. But only money is going to do that. If you do nothing with this thread, at least re-evaluate the way in which you handle transactions.

Funcom should really take a page out of Valve's book, especially when it comes to cosmetics. Valve creates crazy amounts of cash for their games by regularly providing new cosmetic items. Consider Dota 2. It is entirely f2p but the item shop that is purely for cosmetic gear to outfit various heroes creates cash and then some.

People don't really care about pets that have no purpose. People DO care about vanity armor that looks good on their toons. We have vanity slots, so the infrastructure is there. Using existing sets and making new sets/recoloring old ones can create a lot of variety. However, when the chest that I can buy at the item shop likely drops a single time morph or a useless pet. I won't spend money on that. However, I'd like to buy a cool armor set directly (like i bought the armor sets associated with the shitty conan movie). If I can directly buy a vanity t1 armor set I'd like to buy that on certain toons. I'd like to buy vanity old world dungeon armor sets, etc...
