Thread: Group question

    Default Group question

    Coming back to game with a group of 6 players, If you had your choice of 6 classes in a group to be able to do most dungeons, what would those classes be?

    Any help would be appreciated...

    I myself am still stuck between choosing DT or Guard..not sure which would be better for group.

    Guard is a good class, but DT is a superstar in 6 mans once you get some crit gear.

    I have been trying both at 80, my DT has very little crit gear and no VOM and I am amazed at how many mobs I can fight and survive....I heard VOM makes it even better if correct.

    My top pick for six man group would be DT, Conq, Tos, Demo, any rogue and bear. With two healers, two tanks and rogue you can do anything, mage buff, Tos gives everyone mana, bear has so many dps buffs. Demo high fast burst damage, of course necro would work too.
    BUT that would be my ideal group, As long as you have six decent players, you can do six mans with any two tanks, a healer and a rogue, two healers make it easier, but a good solo healer can do most by themselves.
    If I had a group of six players that I loved to group with and be with, then I would make sure each player has an alt so you can mix and match classes for some fights.

    I would pick any two soldiers for stuff like Main System or Catacombs runs; but if I want everything faster, I just get experienced players, regardless of the class.
    • Remove daily rewards and the raid finder;
    • remove membership bonuses;
    • disable PVE XP for daily challenges;
    • remove WBs forever on Crom;
    • slow down the AA gain;
    • lower the PVP XP gain or remove the streak system;
    • remove AoE looting;
    • add the missing mobs back to Khesh., F. of the Dead, and Eigl. Mount.;
    • fix the 250+ms ping;
    • take the key away from Saddur;
    • revert T3, T3.5 (10.21.15), T4 (10.21.15), and GGG changes;
    • remove energy and add skills (like taunt) back.

    why should somebody make his group thinking about pointless stuff like main system or catacombs??

    maybe you wanted to say coils and wyrm?


    by the way, one conq in group is damn good to have, to fix the occasional death...
    other than that, guard or dt are both viable. dt will make things faster, but it will take more to gear decently...

    For myself I think I am going to go DT, they seem easier to solo with as well.

    How are they pointless?! They are imperative for levelling characters; and sometimes, more than two runs are needed to get some more gear or recipes.

    Xaveus, all classes are easy to solo, but D.T. might be the most entertaining to play.
