Since there has been so much talk about it as of late, we're going to be having fun on the Rage server

Yeah, talk, or helpless cry to get out of that hole I mean really, you're going to be having fun on Rage, that's like going about dancing on peoples graves. Especially if you've got the 12 guys playing lined up for it already... Which I kinda expect to be needed for this to work. Great that you're doing something I guess, and I'll definitely tune in, at least to see if you can pull it off. But tbh I'd much rather see you guys do pug 80 minis on crom/fury with "not the best of gear" and get your face smashed in on the respad while half of the team are afking in hide. Yeah. Would be an awesome community bonding thing to vent some steam by padfarming the CM.

Picture this *fade to: FUNCOM conference room ~ "Let's do an event on the least populated server; so there no competition and/or the event falls flat. Let's have an event with the most hostile and socially retarded group of people in any game I've come across. Most hostile and socially awkward group of players are the one on these forums reacting whenever anyone from Funcom dares to stick his neck out and do/announce something here.

About the event. I would like to join but there is no way I can get a character to level 50 on rage in just a few days since no offlines there and I don't have 80s to powerlevel. On Crom it would take me only a hour or so to powerlevel to 30 and use offlines. Or maybe give a free 50 character for those that ask just for that day? I'm afraid it won't be a success insofar that there won't be anyone to play against.

Clearly you're NOT comprehending the fact that 3-4 years worth of ideas have been given to them and they totally disregard the community and come up with these cockamamie ideas that just wont work. Lets talk about the gobs of great ideas that came out on the Suggestion Thread that never saw the light of day. The data was never looked at analytically. It was too "big" for them and they side-lined it. To free up forum space; they bury it an make some BS effort to "re-boot" it with v.2. shall we talk about in-game Horse Racing while we're at it? ...

How about this; If FUNCOM wanted to "stick their necks out" ~ they could stream from the beginning of the game (character creation) on up thru leveling. Do this on a weekly basis or so. Included PvP on a populated server. First off; If yer trying to draw in customers via twitch (paying customers too ~ lets not fool ourselves here) ; you don't start off streaming at level 50. The data shows that the most views come from players at lower levels in-game. Maybe look into that FUNCOM reps. Its a smart move to look at twitch trends/data. Common Man !

Last time they streamed low level quests, which was horribly boring to watch. I can't imagine anyone, who never heard about AoC, did watch that for more than 5 minutes..

Yeah it's easy to think that way, but I'd love to like this and like Tomium. But to hold a community event that 99% of the community is unable to participate in? Leads to this:

A funcom-staff community event! You even point it out yourself for crying out loud. But to parade it like it's something else, stupid idea is stupid. And to go on and "have fun" on a server whose people have begged to get out of for ages is just a big slap in the face.

I think it's a great idea AND a horrible idea at the same time. Regardless, I hope you do it on Rage. It'd be a good lesson for Funcom if Rage is as bad as everyone from Rage says it is. Sounds like the only one left on Rage are hackers, exploiters and people with horrible personalities. (unfortunately funcom isn't too good at "learning" lessons. But they HAVE learned how to produce nothing while making money doing it.)

Regardless, it will be interesting for at least 10 minutes.

I will note this from the last stream you did.... I noticed you took the TSW poster off the wall behind you and sezma while you streamed AoC. Smart move.

How's Fury work for you all then?

One of the first things I was asked when I got to the AoC forums was to stream PvP.

I make no bones about it, I suck at PvP, so it should be hilarious to kill me over and over again.

If we go to Fury, would level 50 still work as a base level?

true. they picked one of the most fun classes in game, the hox... and they were playing it so horribly that i couldn't stand to watch them more than a few minutes!!
i hope they have improved a lot, else every noob would faceroll them in a mini!!
