I would suggest to skip the K at intel processors - saves money at buying and uses much less electricity - two birds with one shot.
    You would have to be completely retarded to easily damage a CPU or GPU overclocking. Read a guide on how to do it. As long as you know the limits of voltages and keep an eye on heat you will be fine.

    AoC runs best on a strong CPU running at high speeds. The 4790k is 4.4ghz out of the box and really won't even need to bother with overclocking it. Its worth it to put extra into that CPU and save money somewhere else. I'm running a 4770k @ 4.4ghz so pretty much identical to the 4790k. So I know from experience.

    Also who worries about their computer sucking up electricity? lol. If you have to worry about a computer costing to much to run then maybe building one would not be a good idea right now.

    Something like this would be a great system http://www.pccasegear.com/sc/Big

    I know its over budget and does not include the DVD drive or OS. You could probably get them from a local store anyway. This is just to give an idea.

    The problem is a box version of the same OS costs much more (sometimes, double the price!). It is better to buy an OEM version with a computer.
    • Remove daily rewards and the raid finder;
    • remove membership bonuses;
    • disable PVE XP for daily challenges;
    • remove WBs forever on Crom;
    • slow down the AA gain;
    • lower the PVP XP gain or remove the streak system;
    • remove AoE looting;
    • add the missing mobs back to Khesh., F. of the Dead, and Eigl. Mount.;
    • fix the 250+ms ping;
    • take the key away from Saddur;
    • revert T3, T3.5 (10.21.15), T4 (10.21.15), and GGG changes;
    • remove energy and add skills (like taunt) back.

    Really? Thought I remembered seeing it at the same price at Walmart. Could be wrong though.

    They are probably selling an OEM version too (it is called "a license": a disc with either 32- or 64-bit Windows and a key (that works on both 32- and 64-bit versions) in a hard paper package) intended for sale for a specific group of people ("System builders").

    Exactly..if u dunno what to do, u can easily loose track of heat for example^^ Doesnt matter..i wouldnt suggest it since i see that quite often in my job.

    Hm...where are u from? Im from Germany and our electricity is so friggin expensive these days^^ My PC sucks about 150 up to 200 kwh per month, depends how much i play - usually 10+ hours a day. Thats like 40 to 50 Euro per month atm, next year the electricity will be even more expensive since the country switches from nuclear to "clean energy". An overclocked cpu and gpu would raise these 40-50 Euro up to 60 to 70 Euro per month...thats way too much for a very little bit more power from the cpu and gpu^^

    Through using this site: http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine

    My computer uses 389 watts if CPU is stock at 3,5 Ghz and 418 watts if overclocked to 4,4 Ghz.

    30 watts difference if computer is powered on 24/7/4 that gives a consumption of 20kwh more each month.

    If 150 kwh is 50 euros that gives 0,33 euro per kwh.

    And that gives 6,66 euros in cost for having it overclocked and powered on continously through four full weeks.

    If that hurts your wallet too much, you shouldn't bother having a high end computer in the first place.

    Interesting to note that graphics card is overpriced on pccasegear.

    http://smile.amazon.com/MSI-GTX-980-...nvidia+gtx+980

    Be sure to shop around to see if you can find those parts a bit cheaper on sites like Amazon/Newegg, might save you a few hundred.

    Not sure what the change in availability might be with you being in Australia. Good luck. Looks like a good computer.
