    Default Tribuild

A tri-build I've been using in HM content. AAs used are Bindings of the Skylord and Ring of Fire. I use Fires of Gehenna as the main nuke. What do you think Demos?

Selfish DPS build imo, points better spent on pet buffs with heals and extra cc's.

Check if your browser doesn't add two additional slash "/" after http:// (making it "http:////aocfeats.com", instead of "http://aocfeats.com"). It happens on certain browser with shortened url.

Fun fact : Not actually the same guy as the player named "Jaedelyia" in-game. Never though I would one day encounter a guy with the same nickname as this one.

I think you should consider having Demonic Power and Unholy Hate feated, that would be an improvement. Anyway, as long as a Demo feats Combustion then it doesn't really matter much where the rest of the points are.

You shouldn't underestimate the power of your pet. With Demonic Power and Pact of Earth Walking, it typically does 10-12% of total damage from a Demo.

Personally, not much beats this build. http://is.gd/j7Q0Ic

It's not tribuild. Only ever place I find Tribuild useful is Entity and Archfiend of Gore.

General tree is bad, it's only good for the -5% hate if you're having aggro issues with crappy tanks and shouldn't be feated for any other reason in PvE.

It's hard to make a really bad demo build imo, if you understand the build and the rotation that works best with it. A geared demo that uses the build he created will do very good DPS.

Having said that, you made some choices that I didn't care for.

I can't fault anyone for grabbing that -hate in general, but honestly those 5 points for Mystical Attunement aren't worth it imo. You may be surprised how little difference 72.3 magic damage makes, especially when you get into a full Khitai set and higher.
Fully feating Backdraft may seem like a good idea and knocking mobs halfway across the playfield is fun, but can actually be a detriment to group play.
I don't really like Combustion or Blazing Fire, because Hellfire Stream is not a big hitter, and I only use it as a filler while my WoF is recharging. Again, cost/benefit ratio makes these points too expensive.

Despite my preferences, this isn't a terrible tri-build. In fact it's pretty good and I'm sure anyone could get respectable DPS with it. But honestly, with multiple-feat trees there is no need to make such compromises. I have two builds. My PoEW+WoF hybrid that I use 98% of the time and a Havoc+General for max surviveability and agro management.

Not a big hitter, but available every few seconds. If you do 2k dps, a spell with 1 second casting time costs you 2k dps. Those two points are more or less the only reason I go Conflag at all. Also when combined with Blazing Fire and Backdraft makes for an instant KB that is handy at Sheng and Lu Zhi.

The other reason is obviously Improved WoF but since spellweaving most of the time anyway it's not that important to feat it. If you plan on using Consume Flames for mana recovery it's mandatory if you are of the type who use Shockstrikes and Shock Lance too (I am, but my mana is fine).

Tri-builds are mostly a PvP thing, because you want purge or unleashed power and tome for sieges. I can't imagine using tri-brid outside maybe 2-3 encounters in game. Hybrid usually works just fine for most pve situations, as well as havoc/general if your ok with a basic build.

    DPS means Damage Per Second.
Every spell that is instant maximize your DPS as a logical consequence (unless you are a very slow mouse clicker who loose time by clicking on the spell).

Those feats are more or less mandatory in any good build.

About main topic, tribrid builds are good only when you need minus hate.
To max DPS Havoc / Conflagration builds work better, and in that case you kinda need Pact of Earthwalking end featline.

Tribuild with good gear and rotation can anyway push some good DPS (just a bit lower than Havoc / Conflagration) and of course you gain the minus hate (that means that such build is useless if you don't need the minus hate).

Generally with Waves of Flames I use a rotation like: Hs, Shock, Shockstrike, Hs, WoF .. repeat (eventually putting in Bindings and Shocklance - only when stacked 5x for the insta cast and extra crit rating).

I read about some people using a bit different rotation, with 2x FoG instead of Shockstrike.
I never tested it properly, but I would be courious about which rotation push better DPS.
I'm pretty sure that when feated shockstrike rotation push more DPS in average AoE fights, not sure about single target fights.
    And what about 3x / 4x / 5x FoG as filler?
Anyone who tested? (I'm too lazy...).
