Well, its official folks. Massively is really playing EQ1, and actually reporting on it and showing screen shots. Very depressing. It looks about as good as a Sega Genesis.

The best damn Demonologist this side of the Mississippi.
This is the result of the poll AoC led in? ~
"Always review over the Social Guidelines before posting on the forums"
"Please put "Illinois ftw" in your reply to ensure you read all of this ..." -VORBIZ-
So, having less then 10% of the vote = win but having over 60% means...nothing?
If ya'll were all fired up to see a rousing round of Age of Conan over the next few weeks, yer gonna be disappointed. This rodeo don't take kindly to cheatin', so AoC's been disqualified. What I can't figure out is why the perps would brag so brazenly about tryin' to fix the event. Do they think we don't read forums? Maybe some folks just fell off a horse and hit their heads one too many times?
I'm sadder than a frog without a lilypad; I feel bad for all the genuine rule-followin' fans who wanted to see their favorite game get the spotlight it certainly deserves. And this will really put a bee in their bonnets: AoC probably woulda won even without the tamperin', so those fools who decided they didn't want to play fair an' square just blew it for the rest of ya. And here I was looking forward to returnin' to Hyboria. For those supporters who voted legitimately, I hope ya still get your time in the ring in another Choose My Adventure.

Sucks to them. Who cares about Everquest?
Nevertheless a good opportunity to give AoC some spotlight squandered by some expecially moronic members of our moronic community.
Sucks for Massively, since none gives a **** about EQ1, while I bet quite a few people outside of AoC's community would be interested in seeing the game again.
Wonder if it is just some paid publicity for the newest Ever Quest game. No one cares about EQ1 and if you wanted to play EQ at all you would probably go with EQ2. That is if you wanted an older game. Not saying what a very tiny minority of the AoC community did was right but they could have easily stopped it from happening by making you sigh up for an account and only one vote per account. AoC would still have won hands down.
Massively has, unfortunately, revealed its either corrupt or unprofessional side; thus, it should be disregarded by all communities. We do not need such people even playing Age of Conan: it is unfathomable what we would have to suffer to assist that person who is even clueless about his or her own job as a journalist and cannot even run and sort a poll correctly.
It appears that the redneck (that is according to his or her spelling: no offence should be taken) journalist mistakenly added Age of Conan in the list, forgetting about the age limitation for the game; and backing off through amateur accusations and disqualification seemed to be the only way for the site to gain the broader audience (imagine all the commontion created by limitations of the age of the viewers for the site!)
After all, how else would you explain their expunging our faithful developer's words and ignoring all the facts against such a ridiculous move of removing the best game from the list?
Everquest 1 is a great and not so easy game. Well, actually, was, as this is no longer perceived as such after the convenient controls and complexity of Age of Conan, but I have nothing against it. Actually, Everquest 1 is far better in terms of gameplay than too childish Everquest 2 that can only boast with better graphics and movement controls.
Also, the proponents of conspiracy theories may claim that the world is fighting games (any activity, actually) that allow for minimal brain usage, pushing forth any products that require no more than a drool at one's mouth and a thumb that can apply little strength.

- slow down the AA gain;
- lower the PVP XP gain or remove the streak system;
- remove AoE looting;
- add the missing mobs back to Khesh., F. of the Dead, and Eigl. Mount.;
- fix the 250+ms ping;
- take the key away from Saddur;
- revert T3, T3.5 (10.21.15), T4 (10.21.15), and GGG changes;

"I am 18 or over and I agree to the License Agreement, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy."
No one who is below 18 or no one whose age is eighteen years who has not read and agreed to the License Agreement and Terms of Service can create the game account.
"Subject to the laws of your country of residence, minor children may play a Game using a parent or legal guardian's Account so long as the parent or legal guardian consents and accepts full responsibility for the conduct of the child. Parents are advised that the game is Unrated by software review boards and is intended for adults."
According to this, parents or legal guardians can provide minors with the parents or legal guardians' account details under strict supervision if the laws of the country allow that.
This could be very complicated for Massively, as it would have to limit the audience in a similar fashion.
