A few days ago they only gave beta keys to premium memebers only. I tried again today and they gave me a beta key without being premium. Maybe they have a lot of spare keys and now they give them for free...

To give them away for free was the plan all along, they just gave the premiums the option to download the client first. When the beta started everyone could get a key. They have 500.000 keys.
