So basically pve gear would give no armor and no prot (not just no prot) would that be more fair for the class balance?

That's silly. Putting -100% PvP hit rating on every PVE item however...

Disociating PvE and PvP is a bad idea anyway. Having usefull PvE armors in PvP allows players that don't allocate as much time as PvE to PvP to still be able to fight decently.

Making them useless their won't help PvP but narrow down even more it's player base.

Imagine if all the people that farmed bori (pve) had their pvp stats reduced for each sacrifice...

People who bori'd to PVP 10 and now complain that PVE gear is better strike me as the biggest hypocrits around, considering that they did 2/5 of stuff all PVP to get to where they are. They were at a stage in their time playing the biggest gear whores around and wanted every advantage they could over everyone else, and now the shoe is on the other foot they cry like children.

People who legitimately PVPed for a very long time to a high level should be on equal footing as anyone else in both raids and PVP. That part is just plain simple.

Your points would be valid if the t3 pvp gear would be better than the current 2-5% in comparison to t2 pvp gear. Nobody liked grinding bori shrines for that ****, but it had to be done, since the droppable chests came in pretty late in minis and not everyone can be bothered opening them.

So let's say I'm new pvp 0 player or returning player starting from beginning. What do I run in for first pvp lvls? Naked?

Don't try to come up with stupid stuff like this, only thing they need to do to fix gear issues is rework and rebalance pvp sets. Not to come up with some ridiculous system that reduces your pvp armor every time you pvp with pve gear
