After starting a character over a couple of times on Deathwish and immediately being able to use the same name again, I have to wonder what's happened now after the merge. I deleted my character and the name is supposedly taken according to the character creation screen, but any attempts to whisper to the name or add it to the friend or ignore list just result in a "unknown user" message popping up. I hope the server didn't eat one of my favorite names.
