Gah, this is typical, i finaly persuade my group of friends (9 of us) who i've played MMO's with since Ultima Online to try AOC again, we planed to meet up tonight ingame, and boom huge downtime, now i'll never get them to come back

I'm just wondering how is it going to be in pvp, 160+ms ping vs. 40ms ping of US guys... if they cant fix EU ping at least they should lag US ping to the same level, otherwise it's gg for all melees

Shouldn't make much difference, this isn't a twitch based game, people put way too much stock in having a good ping. If it was an FPS game it would notice but in this type of game you won't really notice major differences until the ping starts hitting around 300. Originally Posted by Ythor
