Thread: Improved Soul covenants

    Default Improved Soul covenants

Hi, Im trying to change a little my build for fisical bosses and was wondering how it works "improved Soul covenants". I suppouse with this feat I can encrease changes of VoM because I encrease the frecuency of CoA dmg.
But to get this feat i have to give up on curse of Gwalhur and Mind shatter and dont know if it worths it. Has anyone tested it?

    This is the idea:

    -> DT:Stiraqvcrn; Necro:Munyidora; ToS:Stiraqvaa; Guard:Stirameco; BS: Stiraqcanya, ...

If you see one Stira wipeing a group or a raid Its me

    Weird build :S

Why spec soul infusion and prot bubble if it is physical tank build?

    This is way better: http://goo.gl/9JtzPE

If you need the aoe stun, drop drain strength. With a decent healer and K6 gear, you can tank even last boss SotW on this.

IMO, CB doesn't provide enough benefit to feat it. For physical build, I'd take the point from HMS, CB, and soul infusion, and feat them into devourers might.

If you have enough mit without it, I'd take out improved defense and put those points into sustained rage.

Six points for Ether Leech is a huge joke as well. Crystallized Ether is better.

    I really DONT think so!
1 Point in Crystallized Ether for the Effect is enough!
For the rest the Points in Ether Leech are well spend! So please stop spreading false knowledge!

    BTW: Your build is *****

I don't get the idea of this build at all, and from years ago I remember improved soul covenants was a broken feat anyways.

Either way, broke or not, this build is very odd.

And 6 points is a waste on the leeches for only 6.1% return...

Hehe! And why is that? Bear in mind, this is a physical tank spec.

Remind me, when did you run out of stamina last time, to justify the 5 points to drain stamina from physical attacks? You know we have an ability to regenerate stamina as well? Crystallised Ether is not an awesome feat to have but neither is Vigor Leech. Better to put points where it does something rather than nothing.

Cunning Deflection, yeah I do miss that one in that build. But to generate enough agro to hold off the dps or to share agro with proper Conquerors, I chose to max all procs.

Curse of Gwahlur is more trouble than gain and it does not give VoM procs.

Mind Shatter is missed, but this is a tank build and hardly any bosses can be stunned. Still got Mind Wrack and doubletap.

    It is not broken.

I just did a straw man parse.

Without the point in it, I got 24 procs on three minutes of bashing Straw Man, gives 8 procs per minute. http://i.imgur.com/uUkzLcE.jpg

With the point in it, I got 39 procs on three minutes giving 13 procs per minute. http://i.imgur.com/xjzpcOt.jpg

An increase of 5 procs per minute. Definitely worth it!

Nevermind my low dps, I only bashed the strawman with BfA in defensive stance and gear I had equipped so bad tanks could share agro with me. Its not like the straw man parse goes any faster in dps gear and frenzy. ^^

I said years ago, and that build that guy posted still does not make any sense...
