Lol at OP, you realize you are playing an MMO right?
There is enough content for solo players, what this game need is more Group/raid content IE for 6-24 players.
If people would bother to actually read and think what the OP meant, life would be easier...
Sure it is an MMO, that would justify better and faster progression and certain content reserved for groups/raids. But even solo players have a role in an MMO (because they usually are not COMPLETE solo players). Sometimes you want groups, sometimes a more relaxed approach.
Fact is, that the "high end" content in AoC is raids (probably in other MMOs too), but that is completely different to the game experience before 80 and not everyone likes it.
I would not open it up as the OP suggested too, but some conversion or alternate ways to get high end tokens, once you did the content, can not hurt.
Imagine addon tiers with one 24 raid, one 12 man raid, a 6 groups, maybe a scaling instance for 2-5 people and one scaling solo instance. 24 raid could give 24 tier tokens, 12 raid 12 tier tokens, 6 group 6 tokens and solo 1 token. MMO argument would still be valid, players would just have more alternatives and choices. Balancing and progression curve could be managed by prices, loot lists, quest rewards and cooldowns. Funcom already did a kind of similar approach with rare tokens, but not thorough and not really time invested/difficulty/reward balanced.
From population size point of view it will be better to have people logged in at various times throughout the weeks doing content, then having people logged in only at fixed raid times.

Cloud farming illustrates the point exactly.
Every single thread reporting it and asking Funcom to put an end to that situation has been deleted, proving that it is not working as intended, but they just can't be bothered fixing it.
So Funcom is not giving T4 gear away, they're just too lazy to make a stand on the matter.
What the OP is asking here is not to let an exploit like MC in game so people can keep abusing it, but to actually design a proper solo instance to get the best gear in game solo.
It just does not seem right.

Lot of people join hm group or raid witout even knowing tactics.
What about people pulling aggro up to die (and several time) ?
If most of people does, People won't ask for "exp" people. 10 min is enought to explain tactics on usual 6 men instances.
You learn throught others experiences. and playing an mmo alone,
maybe people should reconsider it.
I didn't say that, restrict people from getting epic khitai without at least make a logical progression which is Tiers or even Normal mode to learn tactics.
If you want make aoc more casual a mild version as kurt explained would fit with less damage to the lifespan of this game.
Maybe we should rollback/reset T4 gears ?cloud farming
