So I try to log on after the server is back up, download the update, sign in, AND I get the Authentication Error and can't log in. I go to close the game and it crashed.

Regarding the Vale of Lost Women fix (and the dozens of other minor quest bug fixes) - this is the work of one of the quest designers who was let go.
As his last act he was going through the long list of quest bugs in the game and fixing them.

Okay, I have to make this joke.

Could you please fire the guys who're responsible for
- implementing the mage class revamps,
- fixing the HoX visual bugs,
- dealing with the lag issues and
- giving the Forgotten City solo dungeon a worthwile reward?
