Observations on PvP as a new HoX

every hox who is using wolf gear have zero knowledge about this class. Wolfs gear has zero magic damage- main stat for hox. Avatar hox is not physical dmg hox, trust me lol :P

Intelligence equates to magic damage and buffs everything but the DoT's applied by combo's. And I can't remember offhand if that applies to the DoT from Pillar's if spec'd for it.

With wolf gear vs BB gear you loose 300 magic dmg which is a lot and 100 crit rating, but you get 700 more armor, 1600 more health and some mana.
To be honest its not my play style but i have seen some hoxes pull it off.

They gimp them selves is all...BB would be terrible for PvP, but some mix and matching its far better than full set of wolves.
Int is kind of underrated by all HoXes tbh, but wolves gear still has shitty magic dmg.

It's not that bad, more hp and armour than even pvp gear (more hp than t4 as well), plus intelligence gives not only magic damage but also some protection. In fact it's a good set for pvp considering how rangers like to pick on targets like hoxes. Not much dps (a lil bit less than pvp t3 gear) but it's not like you can't mix parts from different sets or use more offensive accessories (instead of just the pvp ones).

Yes exactly it's always a question of balance. And those i know using wolf gear don't either go full wolve gear but it's the dominating khitai gear they have.
