    Default Shax's Barbarian, Buyten.

I look at this class forum and find some weird builds and strange tips. I'll post my builds and explain the mechanics around them.

    Raid DPS: http://goo.gl/fvN6E

Raid CC / Soloing (Back in the Fray): http://goo.gl/UyvZq

Raid CC / Soloing (Blood Fury) : http://goo.gl/pn7Ow

    Berserker survivalist: http://goo.gl/5t0kF

The two first specs are using Reaver combos, the third is a pure Berserker, only using dualwield to do Wreck Armor (though Clobber apply physical debuff also).

Let me say something about the two first specs first. Basically, you want to activate your damage buffs before you press the combo finisher. All of them. Do the combo steps of Upheaval, and press Impale, Dance of Death, Haste, Savage Fury (if stacks x10, Armageddon Falls and Too Many to Count before you press finisher to start the combo animation. Alternatively you can apply the buffs before you hit Wreck Armor, it has autocrit on the opener so that makes some neat damage, and the Shrapnel damage from the combo is also registered as "white damage". Jagged Cut and Bone Shatter is an important source of dps, and should be kept on cooldown. Very important if more than one target to open with this combo so it can "work" while you do other dps.

The Barbarian has many buffs that improve Weapon Damage %. Keep in mind that buffing Weapon Damage will have a minor effect on your combo hits, but a larger effect on the white hits you do. Impale, Dance of Death and Shrapnel are counted as White Damage, so use Haste, Too Many to Count and Savage Fury (if stacks x10) in combination with them for maximum efficiency.

Both Reaver builds have Overpower, which should be used as often as it is off cooldown and procced.

The two abilities; Blood Fury and Back in the Fray can be used for two reasons each.

    - Blood Fury can be used for the buff, or to refresh Blood Rage stacks. The later is useful if you have x15 Blood Rage and you start getting low on health. Consume x5 stacks with Blood Rage and you will proc x11, x12, x13, x14 and x15 again and you will heal around half your health by doing it.
    - Back in the Fray is mostly used for refreshing Reaver stack so you don't have to start all over again if it is more than 15 seconds between fights. It is also a hot, so if you are low on health and expect to get hit soon it would be smart to use it. Could mean difference between life and death.

The third spec is a nobrainer. Use Clobber and Wreck Armor for debuffing the mob, follow up with Finishing Blow after you do KB, use Staggering Blow to get the Weapon Damage bonus, and just **** them up with Upheaval or Butcher. High hitting combos all hit to the right, so use the CCs and move around your target to hit the unshielded side.

I don't claim to be the perfect Barbarian, but I have some ideas of how to play it, and it works very well for me. When you encounter bad tanks, just disable the stance rather than pull aggro every 10 seconds. Good tanks should be able to hold aggro though, even if you go fully out.
